1. The service

RateMyFlightInstructor hosts independent reviews of FAA-certificated flight instructors. Anyone may read; signed-in users may write reviews, and instructors may claim their profile and respond. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. One person, one account.

3. Reviews & acceptable use

Reviews must describe your own genuine, first-hand experience and be honest and truthful. No defamation, no false statements of fact, no fake or incentivized reviews, no harassment, and no reviews where you have a conflict of interest. You are solely responsible for what you post. We may edit, reject, or remove content and may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your reviews

Reviews reflect the opinions of their authors, not RateMyFlightInstructor. You retain any rights you hold in what you submit and grant RateMyFlightInstructor a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your reviews and responses for the purpose of operating and moderating the service.

5. Instructor information & claims

Instructor names and certificate details come from public FAA records and may be incomplete or out of date; we do not guarantee their accuracy. Instructors may claim their profile to respond to reviews. If you believe a review is false or violates these terms, use the in-app flag to report it.

6. No warranty

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, and is not an endorsement of any instructor. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or expose the service to legal risk. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
